Hello Everyone,



I have decieded that after turning 50 this past month that I would like to start a blog and put down my feelings about my life, my history how boring it might be so that my children will have something to share with thier children someday.

I was born on Dec. 28, 1958 in Flushing hospital in New York City at 11:45 pm. I was the third of 5 children that my parents John and Nancy Sweeney had, right in the middle, ( so that might have been my problem from the begining I must have suffered from the middle child issues). I have three brothers Paul, David, Bobby, and a sister Patty. I was rasied in a small house in Whitestone N.Y. on 10th Ave and enjoyed my simple life. We were not rich with money but we were with the love we had for each other.

The evening before my 50th Birthday I was visiting the King Tut Exhibit with my family and very good friends and as I was walking, I glanced down at my ticket seeing the date and it really hit me that I was going to be 50. I was crossing over to the other side so to speak, ( My dear friend Danny leaned over to me and asked was was wrong and I told him and he laughed. He said this is the better side to be on and just kidded me for days about crossing over!) Anyway it never bother me when I turned 20, 30 or even the 40's. (as I called my coming out time and just told people how I felt about things hopefully in a nice way that is). My Daughter had a surprise party for me the next day and a lot of my good friends and family were there to celebrate with me. It made me think that Danny was right his might be the better side but I will have to wait and see. Until the next time Enjoy your life as it goes by so very fast. Buffy
